And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her:

Andª he saithª° unto them,ª Whosoeverªª shall put awayª° his²¹ wife,ª andª marryª° another,ª committeth adulteryª° againstª her.ª

And he said to them, Every one who shall send away his wife, and take another, adulterizeth.

And he said to them: Whoever shall divorce his wife, and take another, committeth adultery.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Ὃς ἂν ἀπολύσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ καὶ γαμήσῃ ἄλλην μοιχᾶται ἐπ' αὐτήν,

And it-fortheth unto-them, Which ever it-might-have-loosed-off to-the-one to-a-woman of-it and it-might-have-married-unto to-other, it-adultereth-unto upon to-it.
