And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Andª whosoeverªª shall offendª° oneª of [these] little onesª that believeª° inª me,ª it isª° betterª² for himª thatª a millstoneªª were hangedª° aboutª hisª neck,ª andª he were castª° intoª the¹ sea.ª

And every one who shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it had been better for him that an ass-millstone had been set to his neck, and he had been cast forth into the sea.

Καὶ ὃς ἂν σκανδαλίσῃ ἕνα τῶν μικρῶν τούτων τῶν πιστευόντων, καλόν ἐστιν αὐτῷ μᾶλλον εἰ περίκειται μύλος ὀνικὸς περὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ καὶ βέβληται εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν.

And which ever it-might-have-cumbered-to to-one of-the-ones of-small of-the-ones-these of-the-ones of-trusting-of, seemly it-be unto-it more-such if it-be-situated-about a-mill assed-of about to-the-one to-a-throat of-it and it-had-come-to-be-casted into to-the-one to-a-sea.
