but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given [to God];

Butª yeª say,ª° Ifª a manª shall sayª° to his fatherª orª mother,ª [It is] Corban,ª that is to say,ª a gift,ª by² whatsoeverªª thou mightest be profited¹ by²°¹ me;ª [he shall be free].

But you say, If a man shall say to his father, or to his mother, My oblation, (be that) whatever from me thou mayest profit;

But ye say: If a man say to his father or to his mother, Be it my oblation, whatever thou mayest gain from me:

ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε Ἐὰν εἴπῃ ἄνθρωπος τῷ πατρὶ ἢ τῇ μητρί Κορβάν, ὅ ἐστιν Δῶρον, ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς,

Ye moreover ye-forth, If-ever it-might-have-had-said, a-mankind, unto-the-one unto-a-father or unto-the-one unto-a-mother, Korban, which it-be gifted, to-which if-ever out of-ME thou-might-have-been-benefitted-unto;
