But in vain do they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men.

Howbeitª in vainª do they worshipª° me,ª teachingª° [for] doctrinesª the commandmentsª of men.ª

But in vain do they reverence me while they teach the teachings of the commandments of men.

And in vain do they give me reverence, while teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.

μάτην δὲ σέβονταί με, διδάσκοντες διδασκαλίας ἐντάλματα ἀνθρώπων:
