And no man putteth new wine into old wineskins; else the wine will burst the skins, and the wine perisheth, and the skins: but [they put] new wine into fresh wine-skins.

Andª no manª puttethª° newª wineª intoª oldª bottles:ª elseª the¹ newª wineª doth burstª° the¹ bottles,ª andª the¹ wineª is spilled,ª° andª the¹ bottlesª will be marred:ª° butª newª wineª must be putª intoª newª bottles.ª

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; lest the wine rend the bottles, and the bottles perish, and the wine be spilled: but they put new vine into new bottles.

And no one putteth new wine into old sacks, lest the wine burst the sacks, and the sacks be spoiled, and the wine spilled; but they put new wine into new sacks.

καὶ οὐδεὶς βάλλει οἶνον νέον εἰς ἀσκοὺς παλαιούς: εἰ δὲ μή, ῥήξει ὁ οἶνος τοὺς ἀσκούς, καὶ ὁ οἶνος ἀπόλλυται καὶ οἱ ἀσκοί: [ἀλλὰ οἶνον νέον εἰς ἀσκοὺς καινούς.]

And not-moreover-one it-casteth to-a-wine to-new into to-leatherns to-past-belonged; if moreover lest it-shall-en-burst, the-one a-wine, to-the-ones to-leatherns, and the-one a-wine it-be-destructed-off and the-ones leatherns[, other to-a-wine to-new into to-a-leathern to-fresh].
