And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

Andª immediatelyª when Jesusª perceivedª° in his²¹ spiritª thatª they soª reasonedª° withinª themselves,ª he saidª° unto them,ª Whyª reason¹ ye²° these thingsª inª yourª hearts?ª

But Jeshu knew in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, and said to them, Why reason you these things in your heart?

And Jesus knew, in his spirit, that they thus reasoned in themselves; and he said to them: Why reason ye thus in your heart?

καὶ εὐθὺς ἐπιγνοὺς ὁ Ἰησοῦς τῷ πνεύματι αὐτοῦ ὅτι [οὕτως] διαλογίζονται ἐν ἑαυτοῖς λέγει [αὐτοῖς] Τί ταῦτα διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;

And straight having-had-acquainted-upon, the-one an-Iesous, unto-the-one unto-a-currenting-to of-it, to-which-a-one [unto-the-one-this] they-forthee-through-to in unto-selves, it-fortheth [unto-them], To-what-one to-the-ones-these ye-forthee-through-to in unto-the-ones unto-hearts of-ye?
