If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not.

Whereforeª ifª they shall sayª° unto you,ª Behold,ª° he isª° inª the¹ desert;ª go²° not² forth:ª°¹ behold,ª° [he is] inª the¹ secret chambers;ª believeª° [it] not.ª

Wherefore,ª ifª they shall sayª° vnto you,ª Behold,ª° he isª° inª the¹ desert,ª goe²° not² foorth:ª°¹ Behold,ª° he is inª the¹ secret chambers,ª beleeueª° it not.ª

If therefore they shall say to you, (observe! I have told you before,) Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: or, Behold, he is in the inner chamber; believe not.

If therefore they say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not out: or, Behold, he is in a secret chamber; give no credence.

ἐὰν οὖν εἴπωσιν ὑμῖν Ἰδοὺ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐστίν, μὴ ἐξέλθητε: Ἰδοὺ ἐν τοῖς ταμείοις, μὴ πιστεύσητε:

If-ever accordingly they-might-have-had-said unto-ye, Thou-should-have-had-seen, in unto-the-one unto-solituded it-be, lest ye-might-have-had-came-out; Thou-should-have-had-seen, in unto-the-ones unto-dispenselets-of, lest ye-might-have-trusted-of.
