For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Forª there shall ariseª° false Christs,ª andª false prophets,ª andª shall shewª° greatª signsª andª wonders;ª insomuch that,ª ifª [it were] possible,ª they shall deceiveª° the¹ veryª elect.ª

For there shall arise false Meshichas and prophets of untruth; and they shall give forth magnificent signs, so as to seduce, if possible, the chosen also.

For there will arise false Messiahs, and mendacious prophets; who will exhibit great signs, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

ἐγερθήσονται γὰρ ψευδόχριστοι καὶ ψευδοπροφῆται, καὶ δώσουσιν σημεῖα μεγάλα καὶ τέρατα ὥστε πλανᾶσθαι εἰ δυνατὸν καὶ τοὺς ἐκλεκτούς:

They-shall-be-roused therefore false-christs and false-declarers-before and they-shall-give to-signlets-of to-great and to-anomalies as-also to-be-wandered-unto if able and to-the-ones to-forthed-out.
