And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

And unless those days be cut short, none could live of all flesh: but on account of the chosen those days shall be cut short.

καὶ εἰ μὴ ἐκολοβώθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι ἐκεῖναι, οὐκ ἂν ἐσώθη πᾶσα σάρξ: διὰ δὲ τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺς κολοβωθήσονται αἱ ἡμέραι ἐκεῖναι.

And if lest they-were-en-shortened the-ones days the-ones-thither, not ever it-was-saved all a-flesh; through moreover to-the-ones to-forthed-out they-shall-be-en-shortened the-ones days the-ones-thither.
