For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

Forª verilyª I sayª° unto you,ª Thatª manyª prophetsª andª righteousª [men] have desiredª° to seeª° [those things] whichª ye see,ª° andª have²° notª seenª° [them]; andª to hearª° [those things] whichª ye hear,ª° andª have²° notª heardª° [them].

Forª verelyª I sayª° vnto you,ª thatª manyª Prophets,ª andª righteousª men haue desiredª° to seeª° those things whichª yee see,ª° andª haue²° notª seeneª° them: andª to heareª° those things whichª ye heare,ª° andª haue²° notª heardª° them.

for, Amen I say unto you, that many prophets and just ones have desired to behold what you see, and have not beheld, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard.

For verily I say to you, That many prophets and righteous [men] longed to see what ye see, and did not see [it]; and to hear what ye hear, and did not hear [it].

ἀμὴν γὰρ λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι πολλοὶ προφῆται καὶ δίκαιοι ἐπεθύμησαν ἰδεῖν ἃ βλέπετε καὶ οὐκ εἶδαν, καὶ ἀκοῦσαι ἃ ἀκούετε καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσαν.

Amen therefore I-forth unto-ye to-which-a-one much declarers-before and course-belonged they-passioned-upon-unto to-have-had-seen to-which ye-view and not they-saw, and to-have-heard to-which ye-hear and not they-heard.
