And thou, Capernaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven? thou shalt go down unto Hades: for if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in thee, it would have remained until this day.

Andª thou,ª Capernaum,ª which² art exaltedª° untoª heaven,ª shalt be brought downª° toª hell:ª forª ifª the¹ mighty works,ª which² have been doneª° inª thee,ª had been doneª° inª Sodom,ª it would have remainedª²° untilª this day.ª

And thou, Kaphernachum, who unto heaven art exalted, unto Shiul shalt be brought down; for if in Sadum had been done those miracles which have been done in thee, it would have stood until this day.

And thou, Capernaum, which hast been lifted up to heaven, shalt be brought down to the grave. For if those deeds of power which were done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have stood to this day.

Καὶ σύ, Καφαρναούμ, μὴ ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήση; ἕως ἅδου καταβήσῃ. ὅτι εἰ ἐν Σοδόμοις ἐγενήθησαν αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν σοί, ἔμεινεν ἂν μέχρι τῆς σήμερον.

And thou, Kafarnaoum, lest unto-if-which of-a-sky thou-shall-be-en-overed, unto-if-which of-a-hades thou-shall-step-down, to-which-a-one if in unto-Sodoma' they-were-became the-ones abilities the-ones having-had-became in unto-THEE, it-stayed ever unto-lest-whilst of-the-one this-day.
