The inhabitants of Samaria shall be in terror for the calves of Beth-aven; for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced over it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

The inhabitantsª of Samariaª shall fearª° because of the calvesª of Bethaven:ª for¹ the peopleª thereof shall mournª° over¹ it, and the priestsª thereof [that] rejoicedª° on¹ it, for¹ the gloryª thereof, because¹ it is departedª° from¹ it.

The inhabitantsª of Samariaª shall feare,ª° because of the caluesª of Bethauen:ª for¹ the peopleª thereof shall mourneª° ouer¹ it, and the priestsª thereof [that] reioycedª° on¹ it, for¹ the gloryª thereof, because¹ it is departedª° from¹ it.

The inhabitants of Samaria shall dwell near the calf of the house of On; for the people of it mourned for it: and as they provoked him, they shall rejoice at his glory, because he has departed from them.

The inhabitantsª of Šömrôn שֹׁמרוֹןª shall fearª° because of the calvesª of Bêŧ ´Äwen בֵּית־אָוֶן:ª for¹ the peopleª thereof shall mournª° over¹ it, and the priestsª thereof [that] rejoicedª° on¹ it, for¹ the gloryª thereof, because¹ it is departedª° from¹ it.
