And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your food and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse looking than the youths that are of your own age? so would ye endanger my head with the king.

And the princeª of the eunuchsª saidª° unto Daniel,ª I¹ fear²¹¹ my lordª the king,ª who¹ hath appointedª°¹ your meatª and your drink:ª for¹ why¹ should he seeª°¹ your facesª worse likingª° than¹ the childrenª which¹ [are] of your sort?ª then shall ye make [me] endangerª°¹ my headª to the king.ª

And the Princeª of the Eunuchesª saidª° vnto Daniel,ª I¹ feare²¹¹ my lordª the king,ª who¹ hath appointedª°¹ your meat,ª and your drinke:ª for¹ why¹ should he seeª°¹ your facesª worse likingª° then¹ the childrenª which¹ [are] of your sort?ª then shall yee make mee indangerª°¹ my headª to the King.ª

And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your meat and your drink, lest he see your countenances gloomy in comparison of the young men your equals; also shall ye endanger my head to the king.

And the princeª of the eunuchsª saidª° unto Däniyyë´l דָּנִיֵּאל,ª I¹ fear²¹¹ my ´áđôn אֲדוֹןª the king,ª who¹ hath appointedª°¹ your meatª and your drink:ª for¹ why¹ should he seeª°¹ your facesª worse likingª° than¹ the childrenª which¹ [are] of your sort?ª then shall ye make [me] endangerª°¹ my headª to the king.ª
