And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

And thou,¹ sonª of man,ª prophesyª° and say,ª° Thus¹ saithª° the Lordª GODª concerning¹ the Ammonites,ªª and concerning¹ their reproach;ª even sayª° thou, The sword,ª the swordª [is] drawn:ª° for the slaughterª [it is] furbished,ª° to consume²°¹ because of¹ the glittering:ª

And thou¹ sonneª of man,ª prophecie,ª° and say,ª° Thus¹ saithª° the Lordª GODª concerning¹ the Ammonites,ªª and concerning¹ their reproch:ª Euen sayª° thou; The sword,ª the swordª [is] drawen,ª° for the slaughterª it [is] fourbished,ª° to consume²°¹ because of¹ the glittering:ª

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord, concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and thou shalt say, O sword, sword, drawn for slaughter, and drawn for destruction, awake, that thou mayest gleam.
