Of Moab. Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Woe unto Nebo! for it is laid waste; Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken; Misgab is put to shame and broken down.

Against Moabª thus¹ saithª° the LORDª of hosts,ª the Godª of Israel;ª Woeª unto¹ Nebo!ª for¹ it is spoiled:ª° Kiriathaimª is confoundedª° [and] taken:ª° Misgabª is confoundedª° and dismayed.ª°

Thus has the Lord said concerning MOAB, Woe to Nebo{gr.Nabau}! for it has perished: Cariathaim is taken: Amath and Agath are put to shame.

Against Mô´äv מוֹאָבª thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת,ª the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל;ª Woeª unto¹ Nævô נְבוֹ!ª for¹ it is spoiled:ª° Kiryäŧäyim קִריָתָיִםª is confoundedª° [and] taken:ª° Miŝgäv מִשׂגָּבª is confoundedª° and dismayed.ª°
