Now it came to pass that, when all the people that were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad.

Now it came to pass,¹ [that] when all¹ the peopleª which¹ [were] with¹ Ishmaelª sawª°¹ Johananª the sonª of Kareah,ª and all¹ the captainsª of the forcesª that¹ [were] with¹ him, then they were glad.ª°

Now it came to passe¹ [that] when al¹ the peopleª which¹ [were] with¹ Ishmael,ª saweª°¹ Iohananª the sonneª of Kareah,ª and all¹ the captainesª of the forces,ª that¹ [were] with¹ him, then they were glad.ª°

And it came to pass, when all the people that was with Ishmael{gr.Ismael} saw Johanan{gr.Joanan}, and the leaders of the host that was with him,
