and said unto him, Dost thou know that Baalis the king of the children of Ammon hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take thy life? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.

And saidª° unto¹ him, Dost thou certainly²° knowª° that¹ Baalisª the kingª of the Ammonitesªª hath sentª°¹ Ishmaelª the sonª of Nethaniahª to slayªª° thee? But Gedaliahª the sonª of Ahikamª believedª° them not.¹

And saydª° vnto¹ him, Doest thou certainly²° know,ª° that¹ Baalisª the kingª of the Ammonitesªª hath sentª°¹ Ishmaelª the sonneª of Nethaniahª to slayªª° thee? But Gedaliahª the sonneª of Ahikamª beleeuedª° them not.¹

and said to him, Dost thou indeed know that king Beleissa son of Ammon has sent Ishmael{gr.Ismael} to thee to slay thee? But Gedaliah{gr.Godolias} believed them not.

And saidª° unto¹ him, Dost thou certainly²° knowª° that¹ Ba`álîs בַּעֲלִיסª the kingª of the `Ammönîm עַמֹּנִיםªª hath sentª°¹ Yišmä`ë´l יִשׁמָעֵאלª the sonª of Næŧanyà נְתַניָהª to slayªª° thee? But Gæđalyà גְּדַליָהª the sonª of ´Áçîkäm אֲחִיקָםª believedª° them not.¹
