And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

And Gedaliahª the sonª of Ahikamª the sonª of Shaphanª swareª° unto them and to their men,²¹ saying,ª° Fearª° not¹ to serveª°¹ the Chaldeans:ª dwell¹ in²° the land,ª and serveª°¹ the kingª of Babylon,ª and it shall be wellª° with you.

And Gedaliahª the sonneª of Ahikamª the sonneª of Shaphan,ª swareª° vnto them and to their men,²¹ saying,ª° Feareª° not¹ to serueª°¹ the Caldeans:ª dwell¹ in²° the landª and serueª°¹ the kingª of Babylon,ª and it shalbe wellª° with you.

And Gedaliah{gr.Godolias} swore to them and to their men, saying, Be not afraid before the children of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be better for you.

And Gæđalyà גְּדַליָהª the sonª of ´Áçîkäm אֲחִיקָםª the sonª of Šäfän שָׁפָןª swareª° unto them and to their men,²¹ saying,ª° Fearª° not¹ to serveª°¹ the Caŝdîm כַּשׂדִּים:ª dwell¹ in²° the land,ª and serveª°¹ the kingª of Bävel בָּבֶל,ª and it shall be wellª° with you.
