Then Zedekiah the king sent, and fetched him: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. He said also, Thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Then Zedekiahª the kingª sent,ª° and took¹ him out:²° and the kingª askedª° him secretlyª in his house,ª and said,ª° Is there¹ [any] wordª from¹¹ the LORD?ª And Jeremiahª said,ª° There is:ª for, saidª° he, thou shalt be deliveredª° into the handª of the kingª of Babylon.ª

Then Xiđkiyyà צִדקִיָּהª the kingª sent,ª° and took¹ him out:²° and the kingª askedª° him secretlyª in his house,ª and said,ª° Is there¹ [any] wordª from¹¹ Yähwè יָהוֶה?ª And Yirmæyà יִרמְיָהª said,ª° There is:ª for, saidª° he, thou shalt be deliveredª° into the handª of the kingª of Bävel בָּבֶל.ª
