Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah.

Thus¹ saithª° the LORD;ª If¹ heavenª aboveª¹ can be measured,ª° and the foundationsª of the earthª searched outª° beneath,ª I¹ will also¹ cast offª° all¹ the seedª of Israelª for¹ all¹ that¹ they have done,ª° saithª° the LORD.ª

Thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª If¹ heauenª aboueª¹ can bee measured,ª° and the foundationsª of the earthª searched outª° beneath,ª I¹ will also¹ cast offª° all¹ the seedª of Israelª for¹ all¹ that¹ they haue done,ª° saithª° the LORD.ª

Though the sky should be raised to a [greater] height, saith the Lord, and though the ground of the earth should be sunk [lower] beneath, yet I will not cast off the family of Israel, saith the Lord, for all that they have done.
