Thus saith Jehovah: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuseth to be comforted for her children, because they are not.

Thus¹ saithª° the LORD;ª A voiceª was heardª° in Ramah,ª lamentation,ª [and] bitterª weeping;ª Rahelª weepingª° for¹ her childrenª refusedª° to be comfortedª° for¹ her children,ª because¹ they [were] not.¹
