But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? [hath he] not [sent me] to the men that sit upon the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own water with you?

But Rabshakehª said,ª° Hath my masterª sentª° me to¹ thy masterª and to¹ thee to speakª°¹ these¹ words?ª [hath he] not¹ [sent me] to¹ the men²¹ that sitª° upon¹ the wall,ª that they may eatª°¹ their own dung,ª²° and drinkª°¹ their own pissªª°² with¹ you?

And Rabshakeh{gr.Rabsaces} said to them, Has my lord sent me to your lord or to you, to speak these words? [has he] not [sent] me to the men that sit on the wall, that they may eat dung, and drink [their] water together with you?
