But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for Jehovah is not with Israel, [to wit], with all the children of Ephraim.

But there cameª° a manª of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª to¹ him, saying,ª° O king,ª let not¹ the armyª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª goª° with¹ thee; for¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª [is] not¹ with¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª [to wit, with] all¹ the childrenª of ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם.ª
