And if thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;

And if¹ thy peopleª Israelª be put to the worseª° beforeª the enemy,ª° because¹ they have sinnedª° against thee; and shall returnª° and confessª°¹ thy name,ª and prayª° and make supplicationª° beforeª thee in this¹ house;ª

And if¹ thy peopleª Israelª be put to the worseª° beforeª the enemy,ª° because¹ they haue sinnedª° against thee, and shall returneª° and confesseª°¹ thy Name,ª and prayª° and make supplicationª° beforeª thee in this¹ house:ª

And if thy people Israel should be put to the worse before the enemy, if they should sin against thee, and [then] turn and confess to thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;
