And when the ´Árammîm אֲרַמִּיםª sawª° that¹ they were put to the worseª° beforeª Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª they sentª° messengers,ª and drew forthª°¹ the ´Árammîm אֲרַמִּיםª that¹ [were] beyondª¹ the river:ª and Šôfaȼ שׁוֹפַךª the captainª of the hostª of Háđađ`ezer הֲדַדעֶזֶרª [went] beforeª them.
