Then there went certain persons, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them; for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

Then there went²°¹ [certain], and toldª° Davidª how¹ the men²¹ were served. And he sentª° to meetª° them: for¹ the men²¹ were¹ greatlyª ashamed.ª° And the kingª said,ª° Tarryª° at Jerichoª until¹¹ your beardsª be grown,ª° and [then] return.ª°

Then there went²°¹ certeine, and toldª° Dauid,ª how¹ the men²¹ were serued, and hee sentª° to meetª° them (for¹ the men²¹ were¹ greatlyª ashamed)ª° and the Kingª sayde,ª° Taryª° at Ierichoª vntill¹¹ your beardsª be growen,ª° [and] then returne.ª°

And there came men to report to David concerning the men: and he sent to meet them, for they were greatly disgraced: and the king said, Dwell in Jericho until your beards have grown, and return.
