Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the law of the god of the land.

Then the kingª of ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּרª commanded,ª° saying,ª° Carry²°¹ thither¹ oneª of the priestsª¹ whom¹ ye broughtª° from thence;¹¹ and let them go²°¹ and dwellª° there,¹ and let him teachª° them¹ the mannerª of the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of the land.ª
