So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.

And Ahaz{gr.Achaz} sent messengers to Thalgath-phellasar king of the Assyrians, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, deliver me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me.

So ´Äçäz אָחָזª sentª° messengersª to¹ Tiqlaŧ Pil´eser תִּגלַת־פִּלאֶסֶרª kingª of ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּר,ª saying,ª° I¹ [am] thy servantª and thy son:ª come up,ª° and saveª° me out of the handª¹ of the kingª of ´Áräm אֲרָם,ª and out of the handª¹ of the kingª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª which rise upª° against¹ me.
