And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valor; and Solomon saw the young man that he was industrious, and he gave him charge over all the labor of the house of Joseph.

And the manª Jeroboamª [was] a mighty¹ man² of valour:ª and Solomonª seeingª°¹ the young manª that¹ he¹ was industrious,ªª° he made him rulerª°¹ over all¹ the chargeª of the houseª of Joseph.ª

And the man Jeroboam was very strong; and Solomon saw the young man that he was active, and he set him over the levies of the house of Joseph.
