Wherefore Jehovah said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

Wherefore the LORDª saidª° unto Solomon,ª Forasmuch¹ as¹ this¹ is¹ done of¹ thee, and thou hast not¹ keptª° my covenantª and my statutes,ª which¹ I have commandedª°¹ thee, I will surely²° rendª°¹ the kingdomª from¹¹ thee, and will giveª° it to thy servant.ª

Wherefore the LORDª saidª° vnto Solomon;ª Forasmuch¹ as¹ this¹ is¹ done of¹ thee, and thou hast not¹ keptª° my Couenant,ª and my Statutesª which¹ I haue commandedª°¹ thee, I wil surely²° rendª°¹ the kingdomeª from¹¹ thee, and will giueª° it to thy seruant.ª

And the Lord said to Solomon, Because it has been thus with thee, and thou hast not kept my commandments and my ordinances which I commanded thee, I will surely rend thy kingdom out of thy hand, and give it to thy servant.
