and they shall answer, Because they forsook Jehovah their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath Jehovah brought all this evil upon them.

And they shall answer,ª° Because¹¹ they forsookª°¹ the LORDª their God,ª who¹ brought forthª°¹ their fathersª out of the landª¹ of Egypt,ª and have taken holdª° upon otherª gods,ª and have worshippedª° them, and servedª° them: therefore¹¹ hath the LORDª broughtª° upon¹ them¹ all¹ this¹ evil.ª

And they shall answere,ª° Because¹¹ they forsookeª°¹ the LORDª their God,ª who¹ brought forthª°¹ their fathersª out of the landª¹ of Egypt,ª and haue taken holdª° vpon otherª gods,ª and haue worshippedª° them, and seruedª° them: therefore¹¹ hath the LORDª broughtª° vpon¹ them¹ all¹ this¹ euill.ª

And [men] shall say, Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought out their fathers from Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, out of the house of bondage, and they attached themselves to strange gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore the Lord has brought this evil upon them.

And they shall answer,ª° Because¹¹ they forsookª°¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª their ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª who¹ brought forthª°¹ their fathersª out of the landª¹ of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,ª and have taken holdª° upon otherª ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª and have worshippedª° them, and servedª° them: therefore¹¹ hath Yähwè יָהוֶהª broughtª° upon¹ them¹ all¹ this¹ evil.ª
