Moreover, if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one small stone found there.

Moreover, ifª he be gottenª° into¹ a city,ª then shall all¹ Israelª bringª° ropesª to¹ that¹ city,ª and we will drawª° it into¹ the river,ª until¹¹ there be not¹ one² small¹ stoneª foundª° there.¹

And if he shall have taken refuge with his army in a city, then shall all Israel take ropes to that city, and we will draw it even into the river, that there may not be left there even a stone.
