And David said unto Michal, [It was] before Jehovah, who chose me above thy father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Jehovah, over Israel: therefore will I play before Jehovah.

And Davidª saidª° unto¹ Michal,ª [It was] beforeª the LORD,ª which¹ choseª° me before thy father,ª¹ and before all¹¹ his house,ª to appointª° me rulerª over¹ the peopleª of the LORD,ª over¹ Israel:ª therefore will I playª° beforeª the LORD.ª

And Dauidª saidª° vnto¹ Michal,ª [It was] beforeª the LORD,ª which¹ choseª° me before thy father,ª¹ & before all¹¹ his house,ª to appointª° me rulerª ouer¹ the peopleª of the LORD,ª ouer¹ Israel:ª therefore will I playª° beforeª the LORD.ª

And David said to Michal{gr.Melchol}, I will dance before the Lord. Blessed [be] the Lord who chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to make me head over his people, even over Israel: therefore I will play, and dance before the Lord.

And Däwiđ דָּוִדª saidª° unto¹ Mîȼal מִיכַל,ª [It was] beforeª Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª which¹ choseª° me before thy father,ª¹ and before all¹¹ his house,ª to appointª° me rulerª over¹ the peopleª of Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª over¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל:ª therefore will I playª° beforeª Yähwè יָהוֶה.ª
