Then Achish called David, and said unto him, As Jehovah liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.

Then Achishª calledª°¹ David,ª and saidª° unto¹ him, Surely, [as] the LORDª liveth,ª thou¹ hast been upright,ª and thy going outª° and thy coming inª° with¹ me in the hostª [is] goodª in my sight:ª for¹ I have not¹ foundª° evilª in thee since the dayª¹ of thy comingª° unto¹ me unto¹ this¹ day:ª nevertheless the lordsª¹ favourª thee¹ not.²¹

Then Achishª calledª°¹ Dauid,ª and saidª° vnto¹ him, Surely, as the LORDª liueth,ª thou¹ hast bene vpright,ª and thy going outª° and thy comming inª° with¹ me in the hosteª is goodª in my sight:ª for¹ I haue not¹ foundª° euilª in thee, since the dayª¹ of thy commingª° vnto¹ me vnto¹ this¹ day:ª neuertheles, the lordsª¹ fauourª thee¹ not.²¹

And Achish{gr.Anchus} called David, and said to him, [As] the Lord lives, thou [art] right and approved in my eyes, and [so is] thy going out and thy coming in with me in the army, and I have not found [any] evil to charge against thee from the day that thou camest to me until this day: but thou art not approved in the eyes of the lords.

Then ´Äȼîš אָכִישׁª calledª°¹ Däwiđ דָּוִד,ª and saidª° unto¹ him, Surely, [as] Yähwè יָהוֶהª liveth,ª thou¹ hast been upright,ª and thy going outª° and thy coming inª° with¹ me in the hostª [is] goodª in my sight:ª for¹ I have not¹ foundª° evilª in thee since the dayª¹ of thy comingª° unto¹ me unto¹ this¹ day:ª nevertheless the lordsª¹ favourª thee¹ not.²¹
