And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good:

And Jonathanª spakeª° goodª of Davidª unto¹ Saulª his father,ª and saidª° unto¹ him, Let not¹ the kingª sinª° against his servant,ª against David;ª because¹ he hath not¹ sinnedª° against thee, and because¹ his worksª [have been] to thee-ward veryª good:ª

And Ionathanª spakeª° goodª of Dauidª vnto¹ Saulª his father,ª and saidª° vnto¹ him, Let not¹ the Kingª sinneª° against his seruant,ª against Dauid:ª because¹ hee hath not¹ sinnedª° against thee, and because¹ his workesª [haue bene] to thee ward veryª good.ª

And Jonathan spoke favorably concerning David to Saul his father, and said to him, Let not the king sin against thy servant David, for he has not sinned against thee, and his deeds [are] very good.

And Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָןª spakeª° goodª of Däwiđ דָּוִדª unto¹ Šä´ûl שָׁאוּלª his father,ª and saidª° unto¹ him, Let not¹ the kingª sinª° against his servant,ª against Däwiđ דָּוִד;ª because¹ he hath not¹ sinnedª° against thee, and because¹ his worksª [have been] to thee-ward veryª good:ª
