And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of Jehovah, and have gone the way which Jehovah sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

And Saulª saidª° unto¹ Samuel,ª Yea,¹ I have obeyedª° the voiceª of the LORD,ª and have gone²°¹ the wayª which¹ the LORDª sentª° me, and have broughtª°¹ Agagª the kingª of Amalek,ª and have utterly destroyedª° the Amalekites.ª

And Saul said to Samuel, Because I listened to the voice of the people: yet I went the way by which the Lord sent me, and I brought Agag the king of Amalek{gr.Amalec}, and I destroyed Amalek{gr.Amalec}.
