And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly; thou hast not kept the commandment of Jehovah thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would Jehovah have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

And Samuelª saidª° to¹ Saul,ª Thou hast done foolishly:ª° thou hast not¹ keptª°¹ the commandmentª of the LORDª thy God,ª which¹ he commandedª° thee: for¹ now¹ would the LORDª have establishedª°¹ thy kingdomª upon¹ Israelª for² ever.ª¹

And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly; for thou hast not kept my command, which the Lord commanded thee, as now the Lord would have confirmed thy kingdom over Israel for ever.

And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵלª saidª° to¹ Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל,ª Thou hast done foolishly:ª° thou hast not¹ keptª°¹ the commandmentª of Yähwè יָהוֶהª thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª which¹ he commandedª° thee: for¹ now¹ would Yähwè יָהוֶהª have establishedª°¹ thy kingdomª upon¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª for² ever.ª¹
