therefore said I, Now will the Philistines come down upon me to Gilgal, and I have not entreated the favor of Jehovah: I forced myself therefore, and offered the burnt-offering.

Therefore saidª° I, The Philistinesª will come downª° now¹ upon¹ me to Gilgal,ª and I have not¹ made supplicationª° untoª the LORD:ª I forced²° myself¹ therefore, and offeredª° a burnt offering.ª
