And as Samuel was offering up the burnt-offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel; but Jehovah thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten down before Israel.

And as Samuelª was¹ offering upª° the burnt offering,ª the Philistinesª drew nearª° to battleª against Israel:ª but the LORDª thunderedª° with a greatª thunderª on that¹ dayª upon¹ the Philistines,ª and discomfitedª° them; and they were smittenª° beforeª Israel.ª

And as Samuelª was¹ offering vpª° the burnt offering,ª the Philistinesª drewe neereª° to battellª against Israel:ª but the LORDª thundredª° with a greatª thunderª on that¹ dayª vpon¹ the Philistines,ª and discomfitedª° them, and they were smittenª° beforeª Israel.ª

And Samuel was offering the whole-burnt-offering; and the Philistines drew near to war against Israel; and the Lord thundered with a mighty sound in that day upon the Philistines, and they were confounded and overthrown before Israel.

And as Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵלª was¹ offering upª° the burnt offering,ª the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּיםª drew nearª° to battleª against Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל:ª but Yähwè יָהוֶהª thunderedª° with a greatª thunderª on that¹ dayª upon¹ the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים,ª and discomfitedª° them; and they were smittenª° beforeª Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל.ª
