And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto Jehovah with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts unto Jehovah, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.

And Samuelª spakeª° unto¹ all¹ the houseª of Israel,ª saying,ª° If¹ ye¹ do returnª° unto¹ the LORDª with all¹ your hearts,ª [then] put awayª°¹ the strangeª godsª and Ashtarothª from amongª¹ you, and prepareª° your heartsª unto¹ the LORD,ª and serveª° him only:¹ and he will deliverª° you out of the handª¹ of the Philistines.ª

And Samuelª spakeª° vnto¹ all¹ the houseª of Israel,ª saying,ª° If¹ ye¹ doe returneª° vnto¹ the LORDª with all¹ your hearts,ª [then] put awayª°¹ the strangeª gods,ª and Ashtarothª from amongª¹ you, and prepareª° your heartsª vnto¹ the LORD,ª and serueª° him onely:¹ & he will deliuerª° you out of the handª¹ of the Philistines.ª

And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do with all your heart return to the Lord, take away the strange gods from the midst of you, and the groves, and prepare your hearts to [serve] the Lord, and serve him only; and he shall deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.

And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵלª spakeª° unto¹ all¹ the houseª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª saying,ª° If¹ ye¹ do returnª° unto¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª with all¹ your hearts,ª [then] put awayª°¹ the strangeª ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª and `Aštärôŧ עַשׁתָּרוֹתª from amongª¹ you, and prepareª° your heartsª unto¹ Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª and serveª° him only:¹ and he will deliverª° you out of the handª¹ of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים.ª
