So he brought down the people unto the water: and Jehovah said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.

So he brought downª°¹ the peopleª unto¹ the water:ª and the LORDª saidª° unto¹ Gideon,ª Every one¹ that¹ lappethª° of¹ the waterª with his tongue,ª as¹ a dogª lappeth,ª° him shalt thou setª° by himself;¹ likewise every one¹ that¹ boweth downª° upon¹ his kneesª to drink.ª°
