and they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples that were round about them, and bowed themselves down unto them: and they provoked Jehovah to anger.

And they forsookª°¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of their fathers,ª which brought them outª°¹ of the landª¹ of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,ª and followedª²°¹ otherª ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª of the ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª¹ of the peopleª that¹ [were] round aboutª them, and bowed²° themselves¹ unto them, and provoked¹¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª to anger.ª°
