And Jehovah said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

And the LORDª saidª° unto¹ him, This¹ [is] the landª which¹ I swareª° unto Abraham,ª unto Isaac,ª and unto Jacob,ª saying,ª° I will giveª° it unto thy seed:ª I have caused thee to seeª° [it] with thine eyes,ª but thou shalt not¹ go overª° thither.¹
