And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them],

And the LORDª shall makeª° thee the head,ª and not¹ the tail;ª and thou shalt be¹ above¹ only,²¹ and thou shalt not¹ be¹ beneath;ª if¹ that thou hearkenª° unto¹ the commandmentsª of the LORDª thy God,ª which¹ I¹ commandª° thee this day,ª to observeª° and to doª° [them]:

The Lord thy God make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt then be above and thou shalt not be below, if thou wilt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, in all things that I charge thee this day to observe.

And Yähwè יָהוֶהª shall makeª° thee the head,ª and not¹ the tail;ª and thou shalt be¹ above¹ only,²¹ and thou shalt not¹ be¹ beneath;ª if¹ that thou hearkenª° unto¹ the commandmentsª of Yähwè יָהוֶהª thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª which¹ I¹ commandª° thee this day,ª to observeª° and to doª° [them]:
