If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, and [the judges] judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked;

If¹ there be¹ a controversyª between¹ men,²¹ and they comeª° unto¹ judgment,ª that [the judges] may judgeª° them; then they shall justifyª°¹ the righteous,ª and condemnª°¹ the wicked.ª

If¹ there bee¹ a controuersieª betweene¹ men,²¹ and they comeª° vnto¹ iudgment,ª that [the Iudges] may iudgeª° them, then they shall iustifieª°¹ the righteous,ª and condemneª°¹ the wicked.ª

And if there should be a dispute between men, and they should come forward to judgment, and [the judges] judge, and justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked:
