and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;

And it shall be,¹ [that] the cityª [which is] nextª unto¹ the slain man,ª even the eldersª of that¹ cityª shall takeª° an heifer,ªª which¹ hath not¹ been wrought¹ with,²° [and] which¹ hath not¹ drawnª° in the yoke;ª

And it shall be¹ that the citieª which is nextª vnto¹ the slaine man,ª euen the Eldersª of that¹ citieª shall takeª° an heiferªª which¹ hath not¹ bene wrought¹ with,²° [and] which¹ hath not¹ drawenª° in the yoke.ª

and it shall be that the city which is nearest to the slain man the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which has not laboured, and which has not borne a yoke.

And it shall be,¹ [that] the cityª [which is] nextª unto¹ the slain man,ª even the eldersª of that¹ cityª shall takeª° an heifer,ªª which¹ hath not¹ been wrought¹ with,²° [and] which¹ hath not¹ drawnª° in the yoke;ª
