Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

Surelyª none of the men²¹ that came upª° out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,ª¹ from twentyª yearsª oldª¹ and upward,ª shall seeª°¹ the landª which¹ I swareª° unto ´Avrähäm אַברָהָם,ª unto Yixçäk יִצחָק,ª and unto Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב;ª because¹ they have not¹ whollyª° followedª me:
