And he took up his parable, and said, From Aram hath Balak brought me, The king of Moab from the mountains of the East: Come, curse me Jacob, And come, defy Israel.

And he took upª° his parable,ª and said,ª° Balakª the kingª of Moabª hath broughtª° me from¹ Aram,ª out of the mountainsª¹ of the east,ª [saying], Come,²°¹ curseª° me Jacob,ª and come,²°¹ defyª° Israel.ª

And he tooke vpª° his parable,ª and said,ª° Balakª the Kingª of Moabª hath broughtª° mee from¹ Aram,ª out of the mountainesª¹ of the East,ª [saying], Come,²°¹ curseª° me Iacob,ª and come,²°¹ defieª° Israel.ª

And he took up his parable, and said, Bela{gr.Balac} king of Moab sent for me out of Padanaram{gr.Mesopotamia}, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and Come, call for a curse for me upon Israel.

And he took upª° his parable,ª and said,ª° Bäläk בָּלָקª the kingª of Mô´äv מוֹאָבª hath broughtª° me from¹ ´Áräm אֲרָם,ª out of the mountainsª¹ of the east,ª [saying], Come,²°¹ curseª° me Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,ª and come,²°¹ defyª° Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל.ª

waYiSä m'shälô waYomar min-áräm yan'chëniy väläq melekh'-môäv mëhar'rëy-qedem l'khäh äräh-Liy yaáqov ûl'khäh zoámäh yis'räël
