And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt-offering, and I will go: peradventure Jehovah will come to meet me; and whatsoever he showeth me I will tell thee. And he went to a bare height.

And Balaamª saidª° unto Balak,ª Standª° by¹ thy burnt offering,ª and I will go:²°¹ peradventure¹ the LORDª will comeª° to meetª° me: and whatsoeverª¹ he shewethª° me I will tellª° thee. And he went²°¹ to an high place.ª

And Balaamª saidª° vnto Balak,ª Standª° by¹ thy burnt offring,ª and I wil goe:²°¹ peraduenture¹ the LORDª will comeª° to meeteª° mee; and whatsoeuerª¹ he shewethª° me, I will tellª° thee. And he went²°¹ [to] an high place.ª

And Balaam said to Bela{gr.Balac}, Stand by thy sacrifice, and I will go and see if God will appear to me and meet me, and the word which he shall shew me, I will report to thee. And Bela{gr.Balac} stood by his sacrifice.

And Bil`äm בִּלעָםª saidª° unto Bäläk בָּלָק,ª Standª° by¹ thy burnt offering,ª and I will go:²°¹ peradventure¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª will comeª° to meetª° me: and whatsoeverª¹ he shewethª° me I will tellª° thee. And he went²°¹ to an high place.ª
