And they said unto Pharaoh, To sojourn in the land are we come; for there is no pasture for thy servants' flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

They saidª° moreover unto¹ Pharaoh,ª For to sojournª° in the landª are we come;ª° for¹¹ thy servantsª have no¹ pastureª for their flocks;ª for¹ the famineª [is] soreª in the landª of Canaan:ª now¹ therefore, we pray thee,¹ let thy servantsª dwellª° in the landª of Goshen.ª

They saidª° moreouer vnto¹ Pharaoh,ª For to soiourneª° in the landª are we come:ª° for¹¹ thy seruantsª haue no¹ pastureª for their flockes,ª for¹ the famineª is soreª in the landª of Canaan:ª now¹ therefore we pray thee,¹ let thy seruantsª dwelª° in the landª of Goshen.ª

And they said to Pharaoh{gr.Pharao}, We are come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for the flocks of thy servants, for the famine has prevailed in the land of Canaan{gr.Chanaan}; now then, we will dwell in the land of Goshen{gr.Gesem}. And Pharaoh{gr.Pharao} said to Joseph, Let them dwell in the land of Goshen{gr.Gesem}; and if thou knowest that there are among them able men, make them overseers of my cattle. So Jacob and his sons came into Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, to Joseph; and Pharaoh{gr.Pharao}, king of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, heard [of it].

They saidª° moreover unto¹ Par`ò פַּרעֹה,ª For to sojournª° in the landª are we come;ª° for¹¹ thy servantsª have no¹ pastureª for their flocks;ª for¹ the famineª [is] soreª in the landª of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן:ª now¹ therefore, we pray thee,¹ let thy servantsª dwellª° in the landª of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן.ª
